My name is Victoria Lucien and I am a senior English major, pursuing a minor in journalism & African-American studies at Loyola Marymount University.

As a former Inglewood resident, I believed it my duty to inform others about the changes being made to the area. Despite some belief, these changes are not all welcomed by current residents.
It is my hope that through this project, I informed and inspired others to take action, if they so choose to address the alterations of Inglewood, CA.
Thank you to Joe & Karen Knott who had faith in my quest by awarding me the 2017 Knott Journalism Fellowship. Without this fellowship, I would not have had the tools and resources available to shed light on the changes taking place in Inglewood, CA.
